Question 1

What is Candidatoo?

Accepted Answer

Candidatoo is a career intelligence platform. Instead of only building a document, it reads your professional history, compares it with real labour market data and shows what you are worth today, where your best opportunities are and what to do to be worth more. From that same profile it prepares every application: a resume tailored to the role, your LinkedIn profile, company context and interview preparation.

Question 2

How does Candidatoo work in practice?

Accepted Answer

Four steps. 1) You upload a resume as PDF, DOCX, text or image, or fill in your profile manually. 2) The system organises your experience, skills, education and achievements into a Base Professional Profile. 3) You add the role you want by pasting the job posting link. 4) The platform matches your profile against the role and market data and delivers a resume, cover letter, LinkedIn edits, company summary, likely interview questions and the gaps in your profile.

Question 3

How is my professional worth calculated?

Accepted Answer

It combines three layers: real pay ranges by occupation, region and company size; your seniority, years of experience, education and declared skills; and market signals for your field, such as hiring volume and recent growth. The result is shown as current worth, market position, distance to the top of the range and estimated potential, always with the factors pushing the number up or down.

Question 4

Is the market data real and reliable?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The market base comes from official public formal employment records, covering all 27 states, thousands of municipalities and more than 2,600 occupations. Everything is aggregated by role, region and range, so no individual worker data is shown. When a very narrow slice has too small a sample, the platform says so and uses the next broader slice instead of inventing a number.

Question 5

Does Candidatoo apply to jobs for me?

Accepted Answer

No, and that is a deliberate product decision. You always review, adjust and send. The platform prepares the material, organises the process and shows what improves your odds, but sending and talking to the company stays with you. Automated mass applying damages your reputation with recruiters, so we do not do it.

Question 6

Does it work in Portuguese?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The whole platform works in English and Portuguese and you switch languages in the selector at the top of the page. Generated materials such as resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile follow the chosen language.

Question 7

Does Candidatoo tailor my resume to each job?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and that is what changes results. For every saved role the platform rewrites your resume prioritising the experience, skills and results that the role actually asks for, adjusting wording and ordering. The document is ready for human readers and for the automated filters companies use, with nothing invented: only what is in your profile, presented at its best.

Question 8

Can I improve my LinkedIn profile?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The platform generates a headline, summary, experience descriptions and skill suggestions aligned to the roles you want, in your chosen language. You get copy-ready text with the reasoning behind each change, including the words that make recruiters find you in search.

Question 9

Does Candidatoo help with interview preparation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. From the role and the company you get a business and role summary, the most likely questions, answer outlines built from your real experience, smart questions to ask at the end and guidance on discussing pay using your own market range. Interview simulations are available to practise beforehand.

Question 10

How does the profile gap analysis work?

Accepted Answer

The platform compares your profile with what the market expects for the role and seniority you want, and shows what is missing: technical skills, certifications, types of experience or measurable results. Each gap comes with its estimated impact on your worth and a practical way to close it, so you start with the highest return.

Question 11

Can I track my applications?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every saved role has its own board with the current stage, a history of what was generated, chronological comments and dated reminders that arrive by email so you never miss a reply or a deadline.

Question 12

My old resume is outdated. Can I still use it?

Accepted Answer

You can. Upload whatever you have, even incomplete: the platform extracts what is usable and points out exactly which gaps to fill, with guided questions. You can also build the profile from scratch with no file at all.

Question 13

What is included in the free plan?

Accepted Answer

The Explorer plan is free and exists so you can see value before paying: build your Base Professional Profile, check your market worth and run one complete application analysis. Recurring generation of tailored resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn edits and interview simulations belongs to the paid plans.

Question 14

How does the Pro plan work?

Accepted Answer

Pro Accelerator costs R$49.90 per month or R$349 per year and unlocks continuous use: applications with tailored resume and cover letter, LinkedIn optimisation, interview prep and simulations, gap analysis, the professional worth dashboard and role tracking. The annual plan costs far less than twelve monthly payments.

Question 15

What does Premium Copilot include?

Accepted Answer

Premium Copilot is a one-off R$299 package with 180 days of access, built for professionals who need personalised help. It includes a larger volume of applications and simulations, human review of your materials and 1 live one-to-one mentoring session with our specialists, from positioning to offer negotiation.

Question 16

Can I cancel any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A monthly subscription can be stopped at any time and you keep access until the end of the period already paid, with no penalty and no lock-in. Nothing is charged by surprise: access simply is not renewed.

Question 17

What payment methods are accepted?

Accepted Answer

Pix, bank slip and credit card, processed securely by Mercado Pago. Pix and card release access within minutes of confirmation; bank slips depend on banking clearing time.

Question 18

I need more capacity this month. What now?

Accepted Answer

You can buy additional usage packs without changing plan or renewal date. The extra balance is kept separate from the plan balance and is only consumed after the plan balance runs out, so nothing is wasted.

Question 19

Can I delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at any time and without contacting anyone. You can remove a single file, clear your profile or delete the whole account. Deleting the account removes your profile, generated resumes, roles, comments and usage history.

Question 20

Does Candidatoo share my data with third parties?

Accepted Answer

We do not sell or rent your data, and we never send your profile to recruiters or companies. We only use the providers needed to run the service, such as hosting, database, email delivery and payment processing, each limited to what its function requires.

Question 21

Are my documents stored securely?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Traffic is encrypted in transit, files sit in restricted storage and every record is isolated per user in the database, with rules that prevent one account from reading another account's data. Our team does not use your documents for anything beyond running the service you signed up for.

Question 22

Is the system compliant with data protection law?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We process only the data needed to deliver the service, state the purpose of each use and guarantee your rights of access, correction, portability and deletion. Full details are in the Privacy Policy and Terms of use.

Question 23

Is my profile visible to anyone?

Accepted Answer

No. Your profile is private and exists only to generate your materials and analyses. There is no public candidate showcase and no company-side profile search inside the platform.

Question 24

How do I export everything that is mine?

Accepted Answer

Every generated document can be downloaded whenever you want, and your profile can be exported as text. If you need a full copy of your data, just ask support and we send it.
